New Jersey to Receive Stimulus Funding for Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program

Washington, D.C. - July 13, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- Today, Congressman Sires announced the release of more than $8 million in funding to New Jersey by the Department of Energy (DOE) for a rebate program to encourage purchases of energy efficient appliances. The money is part of nearly $300 million in funding released by the DOE allocated through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for State-run rebate programs for consumer purchases of new ENERGY STAR qualified home appliances.
