Congressman Salazar announces $599,935.00 in federal funding for new Adams State College housing program

“HOPE” focuses on new homeowners, disabled homeowners and the environment. WASHINGTON, DC – September 17, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Congressman John Salazar announced that a federal Hispanic-Serving Institutions Assisting Communities (HSIAC) grant of $599,935.00 has been allocated for Adams State College. The college intends to use the grant to launch the Home Owner Preparedness, including all People, for one Environment (HOPE) program. HOPE is a community-based collaborative project designed to increase economic and housing affordability to youth, provide job training for people with disabilities and organize the community around environmental opportunities.
