CASTLE URGES THE PRESIDENT TO RELEASE HEATING ASSISTANCE FUNDS

Washington, DC – January 7, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — Today, Delaware Congressman Mike Castle urged President Obama to release additional heating assistance funds for those who are struggling to keep their families warm this winter. Under the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), the President is authorized to provide approximately $590 million nationwide in contingency funding under certain economic conditions
