Iowa Finance Authority Awards $100,000 from State Housing Trust Fund to Benefit Affordable Housing Projects in Council Bluffs and Oakville

Des Moines, IA – March 5, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) Board of Directors recently approved two grants for a total of $100,000 to support affordable homeownership in Council Bluffs and Oakville. The funding is made available through the State Housing Trust Fund’s Project-Based Program. The program provides financing for the development of affordable single-family and multifamily housing units.
