Mayor Bloomberg, HUD Secretary Donovan, Speaker Quinn, Commissioner Cestero and Other Officials Announce 100,000 Units of Affordable Housing Financed Through City’s Housing Plan

New York, NY – May 3, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Shaun Donovan, City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn, Deputy Mayor for Economic Development Robert C. Lieber, and Department of Housing Preservation and Development Commissioner Rafael E. Cestero today announced that the City has financed the preservation or construction of more than 100,000 affordable homes since 2003.
