SOUTH BEND, IN – May 6, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — Facing foreclosure isn’t easy. Recovering money lost to a foreclosure consultant scammer isn’t either. Attorney General Greg Zoeller visited South Bend today to warn Hoosiers that foreclosure scams affect all parts of the state, and reminded homeowners to be careful about where to turn for financial advice. Zoeller filed a lawsuit today against USA Mortgage Aid, Inc., a California-based foreclosure consultant company, which scammed a St. Joseph County homeowner out of $1,700.
