NAHB Research Center Receives $500,000 Award from HUD to Help Enhance Disaster Resistance of Existing Homes

pper Marlboro, MD – October 4, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) –The NAHB Research Center announced today that it received nearly $500,000 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to help enhance the disaster resistance of existing American homes. The project will focus on incorporating disaster-resistant strategies into normally occurring homeowner remodeling or renovations.
