MBA: Only 11 Percent of $1.4 trillion of Non-Bank Commercial/Multifamily Mortgage Debt Set to Mature in 2011

San Diego, CA – February 7, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Of the $1.4 trillion balance of outstanding commercial/multifamily mortgages held by non-bank investors, only 11 percent of the total ($155 billion) will mature in 2011, and 9 percent ($125 billion) in 2012 according to today’s release of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) 2010 Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Survey of Loan Maturity Volumes.
