Federal funds awarded to Macomb County nonprofits to support affordable housing

MOUNT CLEMENS, MI – June 8, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel announced today that $2.3 million in federal funds will be awarded to three nonprofit organizations to create affordable housing in the county. The announcement culminates a competitive process that began in January 2011 to determine the highest and best use of federal HOME funds.
