HUD AWARDS NEARLY $3.8 MILLION TO 20 PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCIES TO SUPPORT EMERGENCY, SAFETY AND SECURITY NEEDS IN PUBLIC HOUSING

WASHINGTON, DC – March 16, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development today awarded nearly $3.8 million to 20 public housing authorities to address emergency, safety and security needs at their properties, including measures necessary to fight crime and drug activity.
