USGBC and Bank of America Announce Call for Applications for 2012 Affordable Green Neighborhoods Grant Program

Washington, DC – May 24, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Bank of America Charitable Foundation today announced the opening of the 2012 Affordable Green Neighborhoods Grant Program. The program, made possible by a $500,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, awards $25,000 cash and educational resources to developers of affordable housing who are committed to building sustainable communities through the LEED for Neighborhood Development program. Applications will be accepted from now until Aug. 10, 2012.
