Trends Toward Faster Home Sales, More Stable Prices Continued in May

CHICAGO, IL – June 15, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Home sales in May offered some encouraging news for the metropolitan Chicago real estate market, according to an analysis by RE/MAX. Compared to activity in May 2011, sales this May were 23 percent higher. The average time those homes spent on the market before finding a buyer fell by 14 percent to 160 days.
