First Quarter New Home Construction Indicates Continued Recovery

WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 7, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — March 2013 residential permit statistics indicate a thirty percent jump over 2012 for the same quarter last year, according to the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City’s (HBA) monthly Residential Building Permit Statistics report. This year’s first quarter recorded 832 single family units compared to last year’s first quarter number of 640.
