Menendez, Chiesa Announce $29.5 Million in Federal Sandy Relief for Buyouts of 129 Sayreville Properties

WASHINGTON, DC – June 25, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ) and Jeff Chiesa (R-NJ) today announced $29,455,545 in federal Sandy relief for the N.J. Department of Environmental Protection for the acquisition and demolition of 129 flood-prone properties in Sayreville. The grants are provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Public Assistance grant program
