Van Hollen Announces $299,940 Grant for Easter Seals of the Greater Washington-Baltimore Region

WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 1, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Today Maryland Congressman Chris Van Hollen announced that the Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service has awarded $299,940 to Easter Seals of the Greater Washington-Baltimore Region as part of the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program. The grant will help homeless veterans reintegrate into society and the labor force. The services provided by grantees will include job placement, on-the-job training, career counseling, life skills and money management mentoring, as well as help in finding housing
