Rep. Grijalva Joins Comite de Bien Estar in San Luis to Celebrate $1.3 Million USDA Grant for Home Construction Technical Assistance

San Luis, AZ – August 12, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva today announced a $1,361,760 U.S. Department of Agriculture grant to the non-profit social assistance group Comite de Bien Estar to identify, screen and prepare candidates for USDA’s Mutual Self-Help Housing Program. Under the program, families provide a substantial portion of the labor involved in building their own homes, reducing the purchase cost putting affordable housing within reach for low-income families
