Nashua, NH – September 16, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — This afternoon U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) promoted the benefits of her bipartisan energy efficiency legislation at the Rosewood at Gagnon Farms Housing Development in Nashua, a development that incorporated numerous energy efficient products and production processes throughout its construction. During her visit, Shaheen highlighted how her legislation would promote similar efforts on the national level and also has the potential to create 136,000 jobs by 2025. The bipartisan Energy Savings and Industrial Competiveness Act was introduced with Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) and is currently being debated on the Senate floor; the Senate is expected to resume consideration of the bill on Monday.
