REP. SANCHEZ RELEASES STATEMENT ON PASSAGE OF JOB CREATING WATER RESOURCES REFORM AND DEVELOPMENT ACT

WASHINGTON – October 24, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Today, Rep. Loretta Sanchez (CA-46) released the following statement after the H.R. 3080, the Water Resources Reform and Development Act (WRRDA) was passed by the House of Representatives in a 417 to 3 bipartisan vote. The bill authorizes the Army Corps of Engineers funding for improvements to America’s ports, waterways and projects tied to flood protection, drinking water, dams and levees and environmental restoration. Although intended to be reauthorized every two years, it has been six years since the last WRRDA was signed into law.
