DeLauro Announces Release of Home Heating Assistance Funds

NEW HAVEN, CT – November 5, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) today announced Connecticut is receiving $67.584 million from the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). LIHEAP helps low income households pay their energy bills and is particularly crucial as we move in to the winter. DeLauro is the senior Democrat on the subcommittee responsible for funding the Department of Health and Human Services, which administers LIHEAP
