Public Defender’s Office Sponsors Used Clothing Drive to Tackle Homelessness

Woodland, CA – December 3, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — December 9 through February 10, the Yolo County Public Defender’s Office will collect used clothing, shoes, purses and belts, table, bath and bed linens, and stuffed animals in an effort to raise funds which will benefit Fourth & Hope’s homeless shelter and programs. Everything collected will be sold by the pound to California Clothing Recyclers, which in turn will ship wearable items around the world and recycle unwearable items by turning them into industrial rags or fibers used to make new products. All proceeds will go directly to Fourth & Hope.
