Cooperative Enforcement Authority Agreement Signed by Departments of Permitting Services and Housing

WASHINGTON, D.C. – December 19, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — As part of Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett’s continuing efforts to streamline operations and provide more efficient government operations, the departments of Permitting Services (DPS) and Housing and Community Affairs (DHCA), along with the Chief Administrative Officer, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will provide better service to County residents and neighborhoods, improve business processes and enhance coordination and cross-training of code enforcement inspectors from both departments
