City extends deadline for 2014 property tax collection

NEW ORLEANS, LA – January 30, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — Due to weather-related City Hall closures, the City announced today that the 2014 property tax collection deadline will be extended to Friday, February 7, 2014. To avoid long lines, taxpayers are strongly encouraged to make payments online or by mail. Property owners who intend to pay in person may do so at the Bureau of the Treasury in City Hall, Room 1W40.
