WASHINGTON, D.C. – February 10, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — Mayor Mark A. Smith has extended the grace period for paying first quarter property tax payments to Tuesday, February 18. The original end of the grace period had been Monday, February 10. Mayor Smith extended the deadline, because winter weather conditions made it difficult for some property owners to make payments. Payments made by Tuesday, February 18, will avoid a late fee.
