Single family housing permits remained steady during January 2014 according to the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City’s (HBA) monthly Residential Building Permit Statistics report. With 283 single family units, January was relatively unchanged from the December 2013 count. January 2014 did continue the trend of outpacing every year since 2007 in its monthly total.
