Whitfield Announces Nearly $263,000 Grant for Murray Fire Department

U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield, (KY-01), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Energy and Power, today announced Murray Fire Department will receive $262,858.00 grant award by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in cooperation with the U.S. Fire Administration. This award is made under the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program and will be used to purchase new air packs and air tanks for the fire department’s firefighters.
