Montgomery County law enforcement agencies will be conducting two Prescription Drug Take-Back Days in May at multiple locations. The first Drug Take-Back Day will take place on Saturday, May 2 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The second Drug Take-Back Day, sponsored by The Rockville City Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, will be conducted during the same hours on May 30. These events are safe, free and anonymous opportunities to dispose of unused, unwanted or expired prescription drugs. The drug take-back initiative is part of an effort to prevent the increasing problems of prescription drug abuse and theft that continue to occur nationwide.
