Cardin, Mikulski Announce $900,000 Federal Grant to Support Clean Water and Boating in Maryland

U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Barbara A. Mikulski (both D-Md.) today announced that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has awarded a grant in the amount of $900,450 to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) under the Clean Vessel Act (CVA) grant program. The grant will fund Maryland DNR’s plans to install 10 new pumpout stations, replace or upgrade 30 pumpout stations, and purchase one new pumpout vessel.
