HUD AWARDS $45,000 TO CATSKILL HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR SECURITY CAMERA INSTALLATION

In an effort to address emergency, safety and security needs, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development today awarded $45,000 to the Catskill Housing Authority to help fight crime and drug activities at its Hop-O-Nose Homes development. The funding announced today is part of $6 million awarded nationwide to help secure public housing and one of two grants announced in New York State, with the other going to the New York City Housing Authority.
