Affordable Housing Grant from Amegy Bank, FHLB Dallas Helps The Women’s Home Break New Ground

The Women’s Home, a long-term residential treatment facility founded in 1957, broke ground today on an 84-unit apartment complex that will include support services for women and children. The $15 million project, located at the corner of Jacquelyn Street and Hammerly Boulevard, received a $500,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant in 2014 from Amegy Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas). The funds will be used for construction costs
