Boil Water Advisory Issued for Consolidated Rural Water District No. 5 in Atchison Co.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued a boil water advisory for the consolidated Rural Water District (RWD) No. 5 public water supply located in Atchison County. KDHE officials issued the advisory because of a water main break at a creek crossing. Creek water may enter the distribution system resulting in a loss of chlorine residuals and bacterial contamination
