House of Representatives Approves THUD Appropriations Bill with Yoder Amendment

Late Tuesday evening, the House of Representatives passed the 2016 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Bill by a vote of 216-210. Included in the bill was a narrowly-tailored exemption to allow the Kansas Legislature to modify its truck length laws for hauling custom harvesting equipment, similar to one afforded to Nebraska in 2005.
