In Wake of Massive OPM Data Breach, Warner & King Call for Increased Funding for Cybersecurity Upgrades

U.S. Sens. Mark R. Warner (D-VA) and Angus King (I-ME), both members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, today urged the Senate Appropriations Committee to increase funding for cybersecurity upgrades at the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The request comes in the wake of a massive cyberattack on the agency that may have compromised the personal data of about 4 million current and former federal employees.
