Commissioner Miller Announces $1 Million Grant Award to Grow Jobs in Polk County

Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller today announced the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) has awarded $1 million to Polk County, located northeast of Houston, for infrastructure improvements and engineering services through the Texas Capital Fund (TCF). The award will support the creation of a wood-product manufacturing facility operated by Corrigan OSB, LLC and create 100 new, full-time jobs
