HOUSE PASSES U.S. REP. MCSALLY BILL TO BETTER PROTECT LOCAL COMMUNITIES

The House of Representatives today voted 420-2 to pass legislation introduced by U.S. Representative Martha McSally to improve intelligence and information sharing on the threat posed by terrorist attacks using chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) materials. The bill, The CBRN Intelligence and Information Sharing Act of 2015 (H.R. 2200), is Rep. McSally’s first bill to pass the House of Representatives and follows months of hearings Rep. McSally chaired on the Homeland Security Committee about the preparedness of local communities.
