Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) released the following statement today following Governor Larry Hogan’s transportation funding announcement. “While important funding for transportation projects in the Fifth District—including finishing the beltway interchange at the Greenbelt Metro Station—were included in the plan released today, I am deeply disappointed that the Governor chose to shift some of the cost of the Purple Line to Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties.
