USDA offers funds to assist very low income seniors with well repair

USDA’s 504 Home Repair program provides a grant of up to $7,500 for very low-income homeowners aged 62 and over to repair a well. USDA Loans at 1% are also available for very low-income homeowners, and there is no age eligibility requirement for the loan. If USDA’s resources are not enough to cover the cost of well repair or replacement for eligible families, they can be supplemented with funds from the Nevada Housing Division’s Low Income Housing Trust Fund, as noted on the attached flyer.
