Congresswoman Marcia Fudge Statement on the 50th Anniversary of the Older Americans Act

“For 50 years, the Older Americans Act has provided services and funding to help elderly Americans live with dignity and purpose. Far reaching in its efforts, the law has helped states like Ohio create strong networks and agencies that deliver critical services to seniors, such as food and nutrition assistance, housing, transportation, preventive health care, caregiver support and elder abuse prevention.
