NYPA COMPLETES $5.5 MILLION ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROJECT AT CORNWALL CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) and Cornwall Central School District in Orange County have partnered to complete a $5.5 million energy efficiency project at the district’s five schools, saving more than $300,000 in annual energy costs. The upgrades will reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions by 895 tons a year—the equivalent of removing roughly 190 cars from the road.
