A Howard County construction project to repair a storm water pond on Montgomery Run Road in the vicinity of Waterloo Road (Maryland Route 108) in Ellicott City is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, August 3. The project will convert the dry pond to a shallow, wet storm water management structure. The metal outfall riser and pipe will be replaced with concrete structures, and the pond elevation will be lowered to increase treatment of water quality.
