Menendez, Booker Announce $1.8M in Federal Grants for New Jersey Fire Departments

U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker (both D-N.J.) today announced a combined $1,837,013 in federal grants to improve safety and operations and add firefighters in local fire departments across New Jersey. The Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) and Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) programs are administered by the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
