Delaney Cosponsors Legislation to Protect LGBT Americans from Discrimination

Congressman John K. Delaney (MD-6) is an original cosponsor of the Equality Act, legislation to end discrimination against LGBT Americans. The Equality Act, authored by Rep. David N. Cicilline (RI-1) was filed Thursday. The Equality Act provides explicit and consistent national protections for sexual orientation and gender identity in the following areas of law: credit, education, employment, federal funding, housing, jury service and public accommodations
