Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) today issued the following statement after it was announced that General Motors will invest $877 million in the Flint Assembly Plant. “Flint is the birthplace of General Motors and we are proud to have them invest in our community. GM’s new investment means that our workers will continue to build award-winning vehicles right here in Flint to be sold around the world.
