Congresswoman Donna F. Edwards (MD-4) issued the following statement supporting H.R. 3700, the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2015. Rep. Edwards supported the bill after an amendment by Rep. Maxine Waters (CA-43) was adopted that removed a harmful provision that would have limited the amount tenants could deduct from their income for childcare expenses.The bill passed the House 427-0.
