HUD Allocates More Than $20 Million to Support Affordable Housing for Tribes in North Dakota

Senator John Hoeven today announced that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has allocated $20.4 million to assist Native American tribes in North Dakota with affordable housing activities. The funds are made available through HUD’s Indian Housing Block Grant program and can be used for housing services, management, crime prevention, safety and affordable housing development – which includes buying, building and rehabilitating housing
