Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for City of Pretty Prairie in Reno Co.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded a boil water advisory for the public water supply for the City of Pretty Prairie located in Reno County. The advisory was issued as a precautionary measure because of an Escherichia coli (E. coli) positive bacteriological monitoring sample. Most E.coli are harmless however, some E. coli are pathogenic and may cause illness.
