Consumers Energy is helping to drive West Michigan economic growth by spending nearly $200 million with West Michigan companies over the past year. The increased purchasing, part of the energy company’s commitment to spend $5 billion over 5 years with Michigan businesses, is strengthening customer service and creating an estimated 5,000 jobs statewide
