Nevada Senator Harry Reid announced $5,473,224 in U.S. Department of Transportation grants to improve and modernize airports throughout the Silver State. The grants will fund projects at Las Vegas’ McCarran International, North Las Vegas, Boulder City and Battle Mountain Airports. Senator Reid has secured nearly $18 million in funding for Nevada’s airports so far this year.
