Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement after the City and County of San Francisco and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) agreed to an anti-displacement strategy. In a letter to Secretary Castro, Leader Pelosi had urged HUD to support one of San Francisco’s key efforts to address housing affordability and tenant displacement.
