Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) heard from representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers yesterday who gave an update on the progress made toward clearing contaminated land in Luckey. The 40 acres of property, located at 21200 Luckey Road, was previously used for beryllium and magnesium processing. Last year, the Corps awarded a contract for remediation of the Luckey Site. On hand for the discussion were local officials from the Village of Luckey, Troy Township, and Wood County.
