Qualified homebuyers can now benefit from tax credit extension

BOISE, ID - December 21, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- Qualified homebuyers can now take advantage of the recent extension and expanded provisions of the federal homebuyer tax credit of $8,000 for first-time homebuyers and $6,500 for homebuyers who have lived in their home for the past five years. To be eligible for this tax credit, homebuyers must sign a contract for a new home by April 30, 2010 and close on the home by June 30, 2010.

October 14, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- The state of housing – both across the nation and in Idaho – will be discussed by experts, local leaders and housing industry professionals at the 2009 Idaho Conference on Housing. This conference, to be held Oct. 19-20 at the Doubletree Hotel Boise-Riverside, features national speakers who will bring the topic of housing full circle - from the national perspective to a look at the challenges faced by Idaho's housing market. Local speakers will also contribute expertise from their communities. More than 350 people are already registered, and there is still time to take part in the conference.
